As an #entrepreneur you will experience many days like this!! Confused, frustrated, and contemplating giving up. I am here to tell you. DO IT!! GIVE UP!! Give up!
Get your resume out and go back the office job you hate. Go to the meetings you loathe and let your soul die slowly. Why not. It’s been done before. The path has been paved. You are on your way!!! So give up in style! Convince yourself that you are too old to follow your dreams, not smart enough to launch a startup, or just plain blame your failure on your mother. That’s the best way to go. Give up! That path is filled with friends.

Super Bowl: A must read if you are from TEXAS or like the COWBOYS

A must read if you are a Texan or like the Dallas Cowboys

At a private SuperBowl NFL Runway show overlooking the bay on Pier 27 in San Francisco

Me: (Walks up to a group of 4 very large men talking)
Me: (Taps Michael Irvin on elbow)
Me: (Gains his attention)
Me: (To the group ) Excuse me gentlemen

Me: Hi, I’m Liberty. Liberty Madison. I am a Texan. It is a honor to have you here at Super Bowl Silicon Valley. I remember. I remember everything you did for Dallas. And on behalf of the City of Dallas, I would like to thank you for our SuperBowls and for all of your hard work. Thank you.

Him: (shocked face)

Me: Might I trouble you for a photo.

Him: You are gorgeous. And intelligent. I’d love to get a picture with you. Let’s actually get my agent to take it.
(He motions for me to follow him and leads me over to his table area with his agent and friends)

Him: (to agent) This is Liberty Madison
Take some photos of us together. (Photos taken)

Him: (to me) Do you like those did you get what you need?

Me: No, they are blurry

Him: Don’t worry we will take it until we get it right.

Me: Let’s get a selfie for the gram while your agent gets it together. ………

Uber, Lyft, or DWI?

Uber decided to splurge price people for new years. Be sure to check your statement asap. You may miss rent!
One passenger noted he may take his chances next year and invest in a #dwi! Of course drinking and driving is a no go but I feel the sentiment!

I had the honor and privilege to talk tech with the original The Tech Guy, Leo Laporte!
Sitting along side Silicon Valleys finest, Alex Wilhelm of Tech Crunch and Lauren Hockenson from Nextweb. We talked professional drone selfies, hashtags, 50 cent (fiddy cent as Leo likes to call him), self driving cars, brogrammers with hoover boards, and some good ole patent infringement. Seriously, we need to decide once and for all who actually owns a circle?!

A #LibertyLesson – State your mission and attract those who support it

A #LibertyLesson LibertyLesson Liberty Madison

When you build a brand you have to commit to your mission statement, vision, and purpose.
Every company, non profit, organization, person is driven by a mission. A common falsehood is “its business it not personal” or “we are a corporation we do not take a side”

Know who you are and attract people who support it.
You will loose people but you will gain a tribe.
For example, I will not venture into a contract with a company that kills/ tortures dogs (animals). I would not go into a sponsor deal with Maybeline or L’oreal.

I would opt to promote a brand who aligns with my goal and theme. I would do one with WETNWILD or Smashbox. The point is you can find a company that shares your vision and mission. You do not have to sell you soul.
Technology has given you the opportunity create the life you want!
State your mission and find those to compliment it.
